In business since 1983, Sensor Technology Ltd. (sensortechcanada.com) manufactures custom hydrophones, ultrasonic and acoustic transducers, as well as the piezoelectric ceramics that drive these devices. Being the manufacturer of both the ceramics and the assembled sensor components offers several advantages, including highly optimized product designs, end-to-end quality assurance, and tight control over delivery scheduling.
We offer a wide array of existing designs as well as fully custom components. With machining, assembly, and testing facilities all in-house, Sensor Technology Ltd. is capable of taking customers through the entire development process, from concept, to prototyping, to full-scale production.
Based in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, we export to customers in countries around the globe.

Sensor Technology is a unique manufacturer of custom piezoelectric solutions. Being completely vertically integrated allows us to sell from any point in our value chain, unlike any others in our industry.
Many of our products have been developed through close cooperation with our customers due to their technical nature, often resulting in direct sales in lieu of agents or distributors.
Our bespoke products do not fit into the typical distributorship model of stocked off-the-shelf items. We have carefully configured our manufacturing lines to allow for nimble conversion from prototyping to production volume. Through carefully established process techniques, we allow for tight process control from small to high volumes.
We pride ourselves on offering a range of volume options at regular production intervals; however, our real fortitude for assembled goods with minimal requirements for infrastructure investment lies in the 1000-10,000 volume range.
We maintain our value for quality by keeping our facility and operational overhead low, while closely controlling our cost of goods.
